Dr. Ram Sushruth is a dermatologist with a keen interest in clinical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and dermatosurgery. After his MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, he completed a fellowship in lasers, aesthetics, body contouring and hair transplantation in Chandigarh.
He was then trained personally by Dr. Pathuri Madhu, India's first ABHRS-certified hair transplant surgeon, in the methods developed at the centre: microscope dissection, trichophytic closure, micro-blade slits and dense packing. Today he is in charge of performing all hair transplant procedures at Dr. Madhu's, from FUE and FUT to combination and mega sessions.
Like Dr. Madhu, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, so every patient at the centre is treated by a board-certified hair restoration surgeon. As a dermatologist, he also treats the scalp conditions that affect a transplant, such as scarring alopecia and alopecia areata.
